1. Bookkeeping Specialist

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Role

As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you'll manage daily bookkeeping activities for a variety of business clients. You are responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts with the bank and credit card, organizing historical bookkeeping records and assisting in month-end close with accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

  • You must be a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor or Xero Advisor (required)
  • Accounting experience of at least 2 years in a public accounting firm or corporate finance position
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud accounting systems and bookkeeping practices.
  • Very good attention to detail and organisational skills

2. Payroll Administration Specialist

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Role

This role is responsible for providing accurate and timely payroll for several clients. Tasks include processing payroll, keeping employee payroll records, handling direct deposits, computing deductions and making sure that payroll information is processed accurately every pay cycle.

Requirements

  • Excellent proficiency with CRA Payroll Rules and Remittance Rules
  • Grasp and experience year-end T4 reporting preparation and reconciliation.
  • Experience with payroll systems in a professional setting.
  • Prior experience in U.S. payroll and IRS / W-2 reporting would be a plus
